Overview
This is a self service article showing some troubleshooting methods for trouble logging into the Outlook mobile/web app after a password reset.
Instructions
Check to make sure that the Outlook app is up to date and that there are no new updates that may have been pushed out.
- Go into the app/play store.
- Click on the top right on your account logo.
- Click manage apps and devices.
- Under this you will see updates available.
- You can then click update all.
Sign out of your outlook account and try to log back in.
- Click on the top left icon of your app.
- Navigate to the setting wheel at the bottom of the menu page.
- Click on your account and scroll to the bottom.
- Press remove account.
- Sign back in as normal.
Power cycle the device you are using to try and access the app off and back on again.
- Simply turn the device on and off again or by clicking restart in the power options.
Uninstalling Outlook and reinstalling it from scratch.
- Press and hold down the app.
- Click uninstall.
- Go into the app/play store then reinstall the app and sign back in.
