Overview
Remote access to the organizations network is available by connecting your device to Palo Alto Global Protect VPN Client. Click on the appropriate link below for installation steps. Once installed, login with your userID and password.
NOTE: You must be granted permission to use remote VPN software. Please complete the VPN Access Request Form. *This form can only be submitted by a Department Head on behalf of their employee who need VPN access*
Issue
Installation steps
IT staff will schedule the installation software (Palo Alto Global Protect VPN Client) needed to connect to VPN
Connection steps
- Launch the Palo Alto Global Protect VPN Client.
- Verify that vpn.bedfordcountyva.gov is in the Connect to: field.
- Click Connect
- Login with your UserID and password and click OK.
Disconnection steps
- Click on the Palo Alto Global Protect VPN Client icon (in the System Tray or Dock).
- Click Disconnect.
Troubleshooting
Be sure to uninstall earlier VPN version and reboot before installing Palo Alto Global Protect VPN client.
If you experience problems logging in after your VPN request has been approved, reset your userD password then try logging in to VPN again.
